I am a PhD student of mathematics at the University of Glasgow under the supervision of Mark Powell.

I am interested in 4-manifolds and low dimensional topology in general. Currently, I am working on a project about mapping class groups of non-simply connected 4-manifolds.

I love to spend my free time snuggled up with a good book in my hands. As much as I like to read widely, I can't resist an epic fantasy doorstopper, among my favorite authors being Steven Erikson and Gene Wolfe.
